Course Goal
The aim of this course; By establishing a connection between cinema and mythology-mythological elements, to deal with the mythological aspects of film narratives, to determine the conceptual framework of the mutual relationship network between them, to examine the films that take their source from mythology.
Course Content
In this course, the projection of mythology in cinema is determined and the ways of using mythological elements in film studies-researches are examined. The contribution of the mythical elements to the formation of the narrative structure in cinema and their transformation into film narratives are analyzed through the 'journey model' in the narratives.
