Course Goal

Teaching the basic concepts, theories, principles, methods and techniques of midwifery to enable students to see the individual and society in a holistic understanding in line with the basic human needs.

Course Content

Midwifery process; patient admission and discharge; infection control; fluid electrolyte balance and imbalances; self-care and hygiene; vital signs; drug applications; care of the patient with sleep and sleep problems; body mechanics, movement and positions; respiratory system applications; digestive system and applications; It includes urinary system applications, pre-postoperative care, pain, death and care of the individual whose death is approaching.
