Course Goal / Objective
To introduce the relationship between politics and communication with its versatile and different dimensions, to explain and discuss the political communication methods in the context of their historicity. To train professionals who will be able to synthesize information in the field of politics and communication and in the field of theory and practice in political communication.
Course Content
The concept of political communication, the concepts related to political communication, the development periods of political communication in its historical context and the forms of political communication will be explained and opened to discussion. In addition, forms of political discourse, political psychology, politics-media relations, media democracy and political campaigns will be examined.
