Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the fire and fire prevention technologies and their developments. Fire-fighting elements, fire prevention, chemicals and their contents. In addition, technological developments in the world and in our country can be used in the extinguishing of the latest technologies in the application is taught together with examples

Course Content

İngilizce Definition of fire and its causes. Regulations and examination of fire protection of buildings. Classification of building hazard. General fire safety and special cases of buildings. Electrical installation, emergency lighting, fire detection and warning systems, periodic testing, maintenance and inspection. Fire extinguishing systems. Foam, gas and dry dusty fixed extinguishing systems. Storage and use of hazardous substances. Fire safety responsibility, teams, first aid, training, exercises, supervision, cooperation and directives
