Course Goal / Objective
The aim is to help students gain a high quality of hearing in order to have a competent hearing in their professional life. The students are required to do solfege practices that consist of one, two, or three voiced baroque, classical and romantic repertoire proceeding systematically.
Course Content
Basic knowledge of music: Music, spaces, beat. Occurrence of major and minor intervals. Ear training exercises. Slight singing exercises with simple songs. The use of the vocal organs and anatomy. Singing in harmony as Solo and chorus . Simple exercises for solo melodies singing with piano accompaniment.
