Course Goal

In the course, it is aimed to learn the tests for the failures of the engines and the engine and auxiliary systems, to interpret these test results and to comprehend the basic working mechanisms of the tested systems.

Engine cooling system, Cooling system tests, Engine lubrication system, Engine oil pressure test, Engine performance tests and performance characteristic curves, Engine compression, Engine Compression Test, Cylinder Leakage Test, Valve Mechanisms, Variable Valve Timing and systems, Diagnostic Test Device controls,
