Course Goal / Objective
The aim of the course is to teach students basic dance steps reflecting the characteristics of a particular period and to help them gain physical flexibility while transforming their natural mechanism into the character by studying historical and character dances within the sense of stage discipline.
Course Content
The main positions in historical western dances (arms and feet). Greeting forms of different periods. The historical dances : Gavotte, Minuet, Polonaise, Waltz, Polka, Quadrille.
