Knowledge of microwave photonics

Course Content

Photonic generation and processing of microwave signals, Dielectric Waveguides, Fabry Perot Etalon, Fabry-Perot Laser, Photodiodes, Bragg reflection in periodic structures, WDM and picosecond optoelectronics, Semiconductor Lasers(basics, modulation, noise), High frequency optical modulators, Optical links for RF transmission, RF-photonic subsystems, Optoelectronic oscillators, Photonic integrated circuits, Lasers, Optical modulation techniques, photodetectors, Optical filters, Photonic analog to digital conversion, Radio-over-fiber systems
