Course Goal

It uses basic radiometric units. Explains concepts such as speed, frequency, wavelength and energy of light. Defines the dual nature of light and gives examples from nature. They explain the progression of light in the medium and its transition from one medium to another, and I deal with these concepts.

Course Content

Ray optics, Wave optics, Beam Optics, Fourier optics. Polarization of light, Optics in anisotropic medium, Optics Activity. Guided wave optics. Fiber optic.
