Course Goal

To have knowledge about electromagnetic theory

Course Content

Electromagnetic waves, wave equation, electromagnetic wave in dielectric medium, conductive electromagnetic wave, wave propagation and dispersion. Electromagnetic radiation, dipole radiation, radiation of point charge, radiation response, radiation from different sources. Special theory of relativity, relativistic mechanics and relativistic electrodynamics.
