Course Goal / Objective

Teaching the crystal structure and lattice parameters of materials, Determination of crystal structure, Teaching XRD diffraction technique, Explaining imaging techniques, Teaching magnetic measurement systems.

Course Content

Structural properties of materials, Crystal structure and lattice parameters, Determination of crystal structure with XRD technique, Elemental analysis and surface morphology examination with SEM/EDX measurement techniques, PPMS system and measurement options, Magnetization measurements depending on temperature and magnetic field with VSM option.
