Course Goal / Objective

The goal of this course is to learn basic knowledge about high-energy processes that take place in astrophysical sources, To know the theoretical and observational studies of these processes and to highlight the underlying physical principles of high-energy astrophysics

Course Content

Interstellar gas and magnetic fields, Dead Stars (White Dwarf, Neutron Star and Black Hole), Accretion in binary systems, Cosmic rays, The origin of cosmic rays in our Galaxy, General principles of acceleration of charged particles
