Course Goal

Comprehend actual particle physics' detectors, their working prenciples and their present used examples.

Course Content

Introduction to various uses of current detectors : trackers, calorimeters, electromagnetic and hadronic showers, spectrometers, muon chambers, fiber optic detectors, particle identification using detectors, tracking particle trajectories, jet defination and jet finding algorithms , examples of -current application of detectors.
