Course Goal / Objective
Develop a basic knowledge and understanding of feed intake control of farm animals. Integrate knowledge concerning the feeding behavior and its development.
Course Content
This course provides an overview and insight in choice feeding and its application in farm animals, as well as feeding behavior of the them. The course, therefore, provides the basis for mechanisms and theories of feed selection and gives knowledge on modern feeding methods.
Course Precondition
Undergraduate basic animal nutrition, poultry and ruminant nutrition or approval of the instructors.
