Course Goal

Therapeutic and side effects of drugs may vary in individuals due to differences in metabolic pathways. The aim of the course is to relate this difference to the genetic structure of the patient.

Course Content

The role of pharmacogenetics in response to drugs. The basic principles of pharmacogenetics. Ethnic and racemate polymorphism, Pharmacogenetic studies.
