Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to gain necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes on anatomy knowledge and anthropometric methods with an interdisciplinary approach in order to assist of identication of the human skeletal profile, including age, sex, height, origin and post-mortem changes.
Course Content
Axial skeleton, Appendicular skeleton, Head and neck reference points, Anthropometric measurements in the head and neck region, Reference points in the trunk region, Anthropometric measurements in the trunk region, Reference points in the upper extremity region, Anthropometric measurements in the upper extremity region, Reference points in the lower extremity region, Antropometric measurements in the Lower extremity, Reference points in the pelvis, anthropometric measurements in the pelvis. Identification of skeletal remnants (age, sex, height, origin, and post-mortem changes).
