Course Goal / Objective
Explain bioelectrical phenomena in cell, tissue and organism by physical law and biophysical methods
Course Content
Membrane potential models, Fixed-electric field Membrane model, obtaining Nernst and Hodgkin-Huxley-Katz Equations, Hodgkin-Huxley (HH) dice model, Membrane electric equivalent circuit model, Undercoat events, single fiber and fiber bundle action potentials, extracellular and superficial potentials. EMG, ECG, EEG
