Course Goal

The target of this course is to teach the basic principles of chemistry in relation with engineering applicaitons

Course Content

In this course, the classification of matter, atom, molecules and ions, chemical reactions, the gaseous state, thermochemistry, chemistry in atmosphere, electronic structure of atoms, peiodic relationships, chemical bonding-basic concepts, chemical bonding-molecular orbitals, intermolecular forces and liquids and solids, physical properties of solutions are taught.
