Course Goal

The aim of this course is to ensure a better understanding of the diagnosis, treatment, and protection techniques against parasitic diseases by learning the molecular cell structures, metabolism, genetic and antigenic structures of the parasites.

Course Content

This course focuses on the cell and tissue structure, metabolism, genetic and antigenic properties of the parasites that lead to significant economic losses and deaths; the serological and molecular detection of the diseases caused by these parasites as well as the vaccine studies for these diseases.

Course Precondition

NONE

Resources

To have knowlegde about general parasitology and molecular biology
