Course Goal

History and philosophy of science, scientific research, problem recognition, hypothesis creation, planning, method determination and evaluation of data in accordance with the basic principles of science to establish the realization and implementation of the research. The aim of the research is to analyze the findings in accordance with the scientific methodology and to provide the principles of scientific ethics. In addition, the ethics of science and publication and the universal principles of this subject are aimed to be taught and the students are obliged to adopt compulsory ethical principles

Course Content

Basic science research; determination of the purpose of the research, literature review (web of science and other networks, literature review), the organization of research, observation and data collection-editing, the possible problems encountered in the realization of the research and statistical operations and analysis, presentation of findings, discussion, comment and reporting or writing the thesis techniques (using the EndNote to create a personal library and organize the literature) will be covered. The importance of the principles of ethics and deontology for science and the science of responsibility and ethical behaviour in order not to mislead science.
