Course Goal

The students learn definition an scope of biotechnology, reletionships of biotechnology with conventinal plant prodcution and with conventional plant breeding, some techniques of in vitro culture and genetic engineering as tools for conventional breeding of field crops.

Definitition ans cope of biotechnology, reletionship between biotechnology and plant production adn plant breeding, in-vitro culture techniques as tools for conventional breeding of field crops, geneteic engineering techniques as tools for the conventional breeding of field crops, safety of genetically engineered crops
