Course Goal

Biochemistry seeks to describe the structure, organization and functions of living matter in molecular term. This course provides necessary information on major themes especially those relating to regulation and the relationship between structure and function, and regulation of metabolism.

Introduction to metabolism, Carbohydrate metabolism, Carbohydrate metabolism, Lipid metabolism, Amino acid metabolism, Nucleotide metabolism, Heme metabolism and its importance, Biochemistry of original organs and systems, Clinical Biochemistry
