Course Goal / Objective
Allelopathy, allelopathic chemicals and allelopathic plants and the use of allelopathy in agricultural production are the aims of this lecture.
Course Content
The biochemical compounds which are released from different parts of a plant are called allelochemicals and this interference called as allelopathy. In this course, the mechanism of allelopathy, the production of allelochemicals and their effect, allelopathic plant species and its use in weed science will be examined in detail.
