Course Goal / Objective
To create awareness about the content of electrical-electronics engineering, to create interest and attract the students to the profession.

What is Electricity, History of Electrical Science, Electrical Energy Production, Transmission and Distribution, Power Networks, Differences between an Electrical Engineer and Electronics Engineer, Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, System Concept, Mathematical Model of Physical Systems, Equivalent Circuit Concept, Conversion of Physical Signals into Electrical Signals or vice-versa, Measurement and Control Systems, Comparison of Control Systems and Illustrative Examples, Robotics, Communication Systems, Wireless Communication, Engineering Ethics, Codes of Ethics, Ethical Problems and Their Solving Techniques, IEEE code of ethics
