Course Goal
Historical and current information about the original printmaking art will be given theoretically and practically through examples; Based on the designs created for printmaking techniques, it is aimed to make creative and original application works by using the technical possibilities of printmaking art.
Course Content
By examining the historical development, periods, artists and works of the printmaking art through examples, it is ensured that they comprehend the interaction of today's printmaking art with contemporary art disciplines. It is ensured that they make creative and original application works by using the technical possibilities of the art of printmaking through the designs created for printmaking techniques. This process; It includes theoretical and practical information about collage technique, stencil printing, mono printing, linoleum printing, wood printing and engraving techniques.
