Course Goal
To explain the economic problems and solutions in developing countries. During the course characteristics of developing countries, development and growth theories, poverty and inequality, the relation between population growth and development will be explained. The development process and strategies will be explained by giving examples from least developed countries.
Course Content
Development theories and the problems of underdevelopment will be explained. During the course various definitions of development and the latest development approaches will be told. During the course the experiences of least developed countries will be given, also.
