Course Goal / Objective

It is aimed to reveal the properties of the materials to be used as a plant growing medium, to evaluate the materials that are not used directly by making compost and to bring them into agriculture.

Course Content

Determination of the properties of materials that can be used outside of natural growing environments, pre-treatment, agricultural use, effects on soil physical and chemical properties, compost production methods, development of compost preparation techniques to bring wastes to agriculture, use of compost for agricultural purposes.
