Course Goal

The aim of this course is to conduct field research in order to determine the conceptual framework of the subject to be researched by considering the research methods that can be used in social sciences within the framework of a systematic structure, to introduce the elements that the study should have in order to gain a scientific qualification; data collection and analysis; presenting descriptive and summary information by calculating; to teach students to report/present the information and results obtained within the framework of scientific standards.

Course Content

Basic Concepts and Approaches in Scientific Research, Principles and Processes, Excel, data analysis, reporting, power point presentation of reports and making corrections in reports constitute the content of the course.
