Course Goal

To comprehend the physics of radiative processes, to provide a basis for the theory of radiation and its applications in astrophysics.

Course Content

Fundamentals of Radiative Transfer, Basic Theory of Radiation Fields , Radiation from Moving Charges, Relativistic Covariance ve Kinematics, Bremsstrahlung, Synchrotron Radiation, Compton Scattering and Inverse Compton interaction
