Course Goal

Gaining the competence of performing mass balances, reactions and performance analyzes of different reactor types used in water and wastewater treatment with mathematical modeling.

Course Content

Types of Reactor Used in Water and Wastewater Treatment, Mass Balance Analysis, Ideal Reactors Used in Modeling, Modeling of Reactions in Fully Mixed Reactor, Continuous Flow Reactors, Using Trace to Characterize Current in Non-Ideal (Real) Reactors, Modeling of Non-Ideal Flow Reactors, Modeling Reactor Performance Trace Usage.
