Course Goal / Objective
In this course, to transfer the special knowledge that will contribute to the environmental engineering of microbial ecology to the graduate students and to broaden the students' perspectives for their study subjects.
Course Content
Introduction and history of microbial ecology, Environment and ecosystems, their functional roles, Air microbiology, Water microbiology, Water microbiology, Soil microbiology, Carbon cycle, Nitrogen cycle, Sulfur cycle, nitrogen phosphorus, iron and other minerals cycle, Microorganism-microorganism interactions and ecological principles , Interactions with plants, Microorganism-animal relationship, Extreme environments, Human microbial ecology, Molecular microbial community analysis.
