Course Goal / Objective

In this course, it is aimed to teach what are the basic mathematical skills and concepts that need to be addressed in order to support the cognitive development of children in the preschool period, how these concepts can be taught to children, how to plan activities related to concepts, how to include activities in the daily plan.

Course Content

Cognitive theories, development of preschool mathematics skills, matching, classification, comparison, ordering, time, measurement, graphics, geometric shapes, planning of mathematics activities.
