Course Goal

The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge about power transmission in tractors, coupling and performance of tractor-tool pair, tractor efficiency, tire and ground relations and mathematical calculations related to these.

Course Content

In this course, tractor mechanics, tractor speed, torque and power analysis, theoretical and experimental performance analysis of tractor on hard and soil soil, tractor-tool pairing, coupling type and stability and rubber-ground relations are explained.
