Course Goal

The aim of this course is to learn the physical phenomena from the formation of the photon to the sensors and the subsequent calculations.

Course Content

Energy distribution by type of spectrum. Determining parameters of photometric system. Properties of photometric bands. Wide, medium and narrow band systems. Color and redness. Relationships between light measurement parameters and basic star parameters. Effect of interstellar matter and ground atmosphere. Absolute and difference photometry. Comparison and selection of audits. Transformation; between systems and standard systems. Primary standard stars. Measurements and reductions; Sun center correction, minimum calculation, obtaining light curve.
