Course Goal

In this course, it is aimed to raise awareness about the importance and types of children's literature, to teach different types of expression, and to realize the reflections and effects of the media on children's lives.

Course Content

Evaluation of readiness for elementary school and responsibilities of parents and educational professionals in transition to elementary school is taught by lecturing. The signaficance of early childhood education and elementary school in life of child, readiness for elementary school and factors affecting it, and the relationship between language and literacy.
