Course Goal / Objective
To teach the richness of Turkish, to be able to use a correct and effective Turkish in written and oral, to instill the importance of language by understanding the relationship between language and culture, to teach the rules to be considered in correspondence.
Course Content
What is language. The place and importance of language as a social institution in the life of the nation. The place of the Turkish language among the world languages and the historical periods of the Turkish language. Sounds in Turkish and their classification, phonetic features of Turkish and rules about phonetics. Turkish affixes and their application, general information about composition. The plan and application to be used in composition writing. Petition and resume writing. Spelling and punctuation.
