Course Goal

With this course, it is aimed that pre-service teachers will create career awareness about the expectations of working life, plan their working life after graduation by evaluating their learning processes in the best way, choose career paths in areas suitable for their qualifications, and correctly evaluate career alternatives that are suitable for their own skills, abilities and competencies.

Course Content

In this course, starting with the concept of career, this concept and its effects on life are mentioned. How the career center works is shared. The teaching profession and its conditions are introduced, and information is given on how career shaping will take place after obtaining a teaching license. Students are provided with knowledge and experience about alternatives such as working as a teacher in private institutions and public schools or working as a school administrator. Process and competency information about choosing an academic career path is shared. In addition, information about other education-related jobs and alternatives abroad is also given.
