Course Goal

To gain the necessary knowledge and skills for the improvement of family and community health to the individual who learns the basic concepts of health and the protection and improvement of health. To educate students who know the concept of individual, family, community health protection and development and its affecting factors, behavior-specific health protection and development models and solution strategies.

Course Content

In this course, students are taught the basic concepts of health promotion. Health and disease, health risks, general and personal hygiene, healthy nutrition, physical activity and health promotion, mental health promotion and stress management, cigarette alcohol and substance abuse, environmental health will be covered in the courses, and all factors for the creation of a healthy and safe environment will be covered. is examined. Students are taught useful information to maintain and improve their own health and that of individuals in the community.
