Course Goal / Objective

The ability to protect from disasters with disaster knowledge, to organize a disaster, to have a conscious place at every stage of the disaster

Course Content

Definition of disasters, types of disasters, natural disasters, human-induced disasters, settlement area selection, the duties of municipalities on the settlement plan, the effects of the local administration on the settlement plan, the effects of the central administration on the settlement plan, the use of natural resources, the behavior of large man-made structures in disasters, requirement, risk table, integrated disaster management

To have taken General Physical and General Human Geography courses.
