Course Goal / Objective

After the definition of the concept of change in sociological terms, the basic concepts of socio-cultural change such as acculturation, acculturation, forced acculturation, assimilation and socio-cultural integration are emphasized and information is given about the formation stages of the change in question. In addition, the perspectives of classical and modern theories on the phenomenon of change are examined.

Course Content

After the definition of the concept of change in sociological terms, the basic concepts of socio-cultural change such as acculturation, acculturation, forced acculturation, assimilation and socio-cultural integration are emphasized and information is given about the formation stages of the change in question. In addition, the perspectives of classical and modern theories on the phenomenon of change are examined.
