Course Goal / Objective

Definition of symptoms in leaves and generative organs (chlorosis, necrosis and deformations) under mineral element deficiencies and toxicities in plants. Critical leaf concentrations of deficiency, sufficiency and toxicity in crops. Differences between nutritional disorders and diseases; illustration of mineral nutritional disorders by experiments in greenhouse and growth chamber.

The objective of the course is to give students the fundamental consepts of Mineral Nutritional Disorders in Plants
