Course Goal / Objective
Understanding free radical chemistry and antioxidant defense
Course Content
Introduction to oxygen toxicity and reactive oxygen species. Chemistry of free radicals and related reactive species. Actioxidant defences. Oxidative stress. Identification of free radicals and other reactive species.
Course Precondition
To be a graduate of the Department of Biology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Food Engineering, Fisheries.
