Course Goal / Objective
The main objective of this internship will be to increase the knowledge and skills related to the management of situations that can be encountered in women's life both in the reproductive age and in the postmenopausal period, and to learn preventive and therapeutic health practices. It is aimed to gain basic skills such as recognizing physiological and pathological conditions related to pregnancy and puerperium, which will be frequently encountered in medical practice, distinguishing high-risk cases, and interpreting screening tests. Raising awareness about gynecological screening programs and birth control methods are also among the targets. In addition to these, it is aimed to increase the level of knowledge about the management of emergencies related to both gynecology and obstetrics and to enable them to make the necessary guidance by distinguishing such situations in future practices.
Course Content
During the Gynecology and Obstetrics internship, it is aimed to increase the knowledge about the management of physiological and pathological processes that will be encountered frequently in current practice and to convey the correct clinical practices in the practice of the profession of medicine.
