Course Goal

The aim is to support the multidisciplinary reasoning and critical thinking skills necessary for candidate physicians to acquire good medical competencies and to prepare individualized complementary education plans for them by identifying the deficiencies in their knowledge, skills and attitudes through common cases in the society.

Course Content

The Professional Development Practice consists of two modules. The first module consists of a case-based written exam and objective structured clinical exams (NYKS-OSCE) on selected topics. At the end of the first module, the deficiencies in the professional knowledge, skills and attitudes of our students are identified, a counselor is assigned to them to overcome these deficiencies, and individual complementary trainings are planned and carried out with these counselors. The second module consists of structured case sessions and case question analysis with experts.
