Course Goal / Objective
It is aimed to convey the physiological basics of various animal species used in translational research, to examine and evaluate their physiological parameters comparatively, to choose the right experimental animal in line with the researcher's needs, to teach standardization in in vivo studies, power analysis, ethical principles and regulations in the use of experimental animals.
Course Content
This course includes; Animal species and their physiological basics used in translational research, measurement and evaluation of fundamental physiological parameters of various animal species, use of biotechnological techniques in animals, ethical concepts and rules in animal studies.
