Course Goal

The course aims to provide students with fundamental knowledge into core concepts of the latest high-speed and wireless communication networks.

Course Content

Introduction to high-speed and wireless networks, 2G/GPRS, 3G/UMTS, 4G/LTE, WiMAX, ZigBee, Link 16 and Time Division Multiple Access, Internet of Things ( IoT), 10 Gigabit Ethernet, ATM/SONET, Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy (PDH), Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH)
