Course Goal

The student who completed this course; taking part in the Immunology; Antibody recognizes the properties of T Cell Receptor and MHC system, genetic mechanisms that provide diversity and importance of antigen processing and presentation. know the general information about the immune system, cells and organs, learn the mechanisms of action of natural and acquired immunity. It has information about the molecular basis for the processing of antigens entering the body and presentation to the immune system. In light of this information enables us to analyze new and complex ideas , develop up-to-date information in immunology, original thought and research and expertise.

Course Content

Introduction to immune system, history and evolution, Antigen and Tolerance concepts, Molecules and systems involved in immunology, Genetic mechanisms that provide antibody differentiation, T cell receptor differentiation and development mechanisms, MHC gene and its function, Antigen processing and presentation, Immune response genes and MHC association, Hereditary immune system diseases, important and diversty of TLR receptor, Tumor immunology, immunotherapy

Course Precondition

Gene Genome Proteome and Aging Biology and Genetics courses must be taken
