Course Goal / Objective
Medical Biology mainly provides the required information about cell biology, evolution of cell, structure of cell, function of cell organelles, structure and significance of genetic materials, tissues formed via cell differentiation and hereditary diseases due to mutations.
Course Content
Methods and Concepts in Biology, Use and Types of Microscope, Origin and Evolution of the living organisms, Molecular Evolution of Human Being, Status of the human in ecosystem, Ecological Pyramids and Bioenergy, Human Environment Interaction, Viruses and Monera, Protista and Fungi, Biological Reactions, Biological Macromolecules and Liquids, Cell Theory and biological membranes, Cell organelles, Moving the Cell Membrane, Cell surface specializations and Connections, Cell Communication Systems, photosynthesis and chemosynthesis, cellular respiration, Cell Cycle, Cell Division and Control, Asexual and sexual reproduction, Tissues.
