Course Goal

The aim of this course is to explain and interpret the will to meaning, the relationship between the search for meaning and religion, and which characteristics of religions can be an answer to the search for meaning, within the framework of Viktor Frankl’s logotherapy theory.

Course Content

The will to meaning, psychological and religious foundations of the search for meaning, Viktor Frankl and Logotherapy, Logotherapy and religion, Viktor Frankl’s view of religion and god, belief and devotion and search for meaning, religion as a response to the search for meaning.
