Course Goal / Objective
To be aware of the relation of the Qur'an with the socio-cultural situation of the environment in which it was revealed. To be informed about the debates on Revelation. Understanding the effect of reading the Qur'an over the period in which it was revealed is the aim of our course.
Course Content
The nature of the concepts of the Qur'an and revelation, their relations with each other and their place in understanding the Qur'an are the subject of our course.

There are no prerequisites.
